Eskimos

Eskimos have over 400 words for "snow."  But they have hundreds of words for everything.  They are a synonym-loving people.  There are 150 words for "mango", 215 words for "hippopotamus" and, inexplicably, over 600 words for "Nicholas Sarkozy."
